Cancellation & Refund Policy
At JimCorbetts.in, we follow transparent and fair cancellation and refund guidelines. Safari bookings in Jim Corbett National Park are subject to the applicable rules and policies of the Uttarakhand Forest Department / Corbett Tiger Reserve. All cancellations and refunds are processed in accordance with the applicable rules of the relevant authority, safari operator, hotel or service provider.
JimCorbetts.in is operated by an independent private travel agency and is not the official government website or official safari booking portal of Corbett Tiger Reserve. We assist customers with safari, hotel and travel bookings but do not control government safari availability, permit allotment or cancellation decisions.
Safari Booking Cancellation
- 30 days or more before the scheduled date: Cancellation may be eligible for a refund after applicable non-refundable charges and agency service charges are deducted.
- 15–29 days before the scheduled date: Applicable cancellation charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.
- 7–14 days before the scheduled date: Higher cancellation charges may apply.
- 2–6 days before the scheduled date: Higher cancellation charges may apply.
- Less than 48 hours before the scheduled date or No-Show: No refund may be available.
Important Safari Charges
Safari permits, vehicle/gypsy charges, canter charges, guide charges and other charges imposed by the applicable authorities may be non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed, subject to the applicable rules.
Our agency service/facilitation charge may also be non-refundable once booking assistance or related services have been provided.
Hotel & Resort Cancellation
Hotel and resort cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective property.
The applicable hotel cancellation terms will be communicated to the customer at the time of booking where applicable.
Peak-season dates, weekends, festivals and special-event periods may have different cancellation conditions.
If Safari Availability Is Not Confirmed
If we are unable to arrange the requested safari due to non-availability, technical issues or other circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Any eligible refund will be processed according to the amount actually received and the applicable terms. Government/Forest Department charges and other third-party charges will be refunded only where the relevant provider permits a refund.
Government Rules & Availability
Safari availability, permit allotment, entry restrictions and operating conditions are subject to applicable Forest Department / Corbett Tiger Reserve rules and availability.
We are an independent private travel agency and do not control government safari availability or permit allotment.
Weather & Park Closure
Safari operations may be affected by weather conditions, park/zone closures, government instructions, safety restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control.
In such situations, refunds or alternative arrangements will depend on the applicable rules of the relevant authority, safari operator or service provider.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for losses or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, government restrictions, strikes, road closures, transportation disruptions, park closures or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where possible, we will assist customers with available alternatives.
Changes to a Booking
Requests to change the safari date, safari type, hotel, number of guests or other booking details are subject to availability and the applicable terms of the relevant service provider.
Additional charges may apply.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed to the original payment method or through another agreed method.
The processing time may depend on the payment provider, bank and third-party service provider.
